Butler Supply University is the umbrella housing all of our training and educational opportunities. It includes on-line training, self-study books, seminars, etc. It has been organized to offer our associates opportunities to obtain expertise, and to achieve as much success as possible in their careers. One of our highest priorities is to provide quality training and development for all of our associates. Providing you with the tools and education you need to reach your full potential and achieve your goals in both your professional and personal life will increase your confidence and your ability to be successful. Course Selection

As stated, Butler Supply University is designed to offer you a variety of learning environments that will allow you to take advantage of a variety of educational opportunities in the format that is most comfortable for you. Whatever your level of experience, your present position, or your future plans, we offer a wide range of programs that will allow you to enhance your performance, learn new skills, or improve old ones.

With our different learning environments you can:

engage in a self-study program (i.e. “How-To” Books)
attend special seminars in a classroom setting
learn through interactive computer training

Through our Learning Management System, we will maintain your training records on-line. You can view your training history at any time. Courses that are taken on-line will automatically be recorded in your history. Self-study or other external programs, such as outside seminars, workbooks, college courses, etc. will be entered manually into your training record. In some cases, testing for off-line courses will be done on-line, therefore automatically adding it to your training record.

How You Can Participate

Take a course! You can access Butler University by following the instructions for on-line access obtained from Human Resources. If you are interested in taking a course that is not on-line, just contact Human Resources and we’ll get you started.
